Recipe Ingredients:

1 4 - 5 pound bone-in or boneless pork roast (I use the cheapest I can find)
1 cup salsa verde
1 Large onion, minced
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Seasoned salt
2 tsp Pepper

Place roast in crockpot ( I usually put it in frozen) and top with the rest of the ingredients. Put crockpot on low and cook 12 hours or so (I usually do this overnight). Take meat and place it on a cookie sheet in chunks. Bake at 200 degrees for an hour or so.

I make this every couple of weeks and freeze in ziplock baggies for easy additions to eggs or making tacos, etc.

I made this last week and it turned out wonderfully. The meat just fell of f the bone and was extremely tender. I froze several baggies of the carnitas and warmed one up for DF's lunch. It still tasted great and I'm very pleased that the roast froze so well without sacrificing taste or texture.

GREAT recipe, Jane. I definitely have a hit on my hands with this easy recipe.
